STLF High School Pay It Forward Tour - Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Is there a parent/participant orientation?

There will be an orientation that is optional to both parents and participants, but is highly encouraged. Parents will be notified of each Tour’s Orientation time and date in advance.

The event will consist of an overview of the trip and an opportunity to have your questions answered.

How many chaperones are on the bus?

Each bus will have an average of seven chaperones. At least one adult employed by the high school that is partnering with Students Today Leaders Forever will be on the bus.

Four college student mentors from area colleges will be with to encourage the leadership growth and mentor the high school students. There will be other adults assisting in supervision of the tour.

How much spending money should my child bring?

STLF promises to provide one hot meal a day. We will also be providing snacks and other treats along the way.

We suggest having students bring $50 for spending money, or an average of $10 a day for food. This is the minimum suggestion, but some students have brought additional funds to spend on items.

Where do the participants sleep?

The Pay It Forward Tour makes various stops at unique places throughout its tour. Please view the attached itinerary for specific locations. All tours will stay in a hotel on their last night.

Who is responsible for this tour?

Students Today Leaders Forever - Bemidji has partnered with Bemidji High School to create this exciting event. All rules and expectations of the high school will be implemented.

Is there a “blog”?
